Not Showing Up For Work
Fire Them.
Dereliction of duty is the willful or grossly negligent failure of a person to perform a legally or officially recognized duty associated with their job or office. Most commonly applied in military and public service contexts. Everyone in Congress who takes taxpayer dollars and fails to show up for work should be charged and prosecuted. We have a massive downturn in the American economy because of some worthless congresspeople who can’t stay and do their job because they have to go home and campaign for their reelection. We didn’t hire them to campaign. Right now, we have TSA employees who have volunteered to work without pay but have run out of money to get to work. Some businesses can’t get work done because the people they need are stuck in an airport. Some motels and restaurants are feeling the financial loss. The trickle-down effect of this temper tantrum from the greater-than-thou congress members is beginning to have a profound effect on citizens’ normal daily lives. If I had anything to say about it, they would be charged and removed from office immediately. An emergency spending bill for 90 days would go into effect in the states that have to replace these arrogant politicians. They could hold special elections in a short period of time that does not allow the candidates to raise a big sum of money, as they would have to go directly to the people, mostly in person, and tell them why they should be elected. This is the way to clean up D.C. and get rid of the dead weight that spends a lot of time and money getting nothing done. The hard-working taxpayers have put up with this nonsense long enough; it’s time to get servants who are going to get and keep America Great again. No more seat warmers in Congress. They want to go home and campaign when they should be doing their job they can just stay home.
